Just because something is trendy, doesn't mean it's appropriate for every age group. But at the same time, fashion doesn't need to become a four letter word just because you're not a young 20-something anymore. Here, a couple of current trends suited for all ages...
Big and Bold - Statement jewelery is HOT and right now it's "go big or go home". No matter what your age, a bold ring, necklace, bracelet, or earrings make a great personal style statement. Just make sure to keep it to one statement piece at a time.
The Urban Military Trend - Sure, when it comes to clothing, this trend is maybe better suited for the younger crowd. But anyone can get in on it with accessories like studded sandals and heels, or cool embellished bags.
Totally agree with this post. There is style and trend for all ages. I'm 56 and still wear gladiator sandals, shorter (not mini) skirts and spiked hair. My philosophy "If you've got it ~ flaunt it".
