Out with the Old, in with the New....

When it comes to fashion and style, there are so many rules that have been stated over the years.

"Match your shoes to the colour of your pants or skirt", "Black and Brown don't go together", "Women of a certain age should not have long hair."

Come on! Really? If you want to appear outdated, go ahead and live by these so called "rules". But I say there are no rules. Here's the real deal...

Forget the idea that you can't wear black and brown together! They can actually look quite amazing together, especially when contrasting the combo with white, cream or ecru.

Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to match your shoes to the color of your pant or skirt. You can wear neutral-colored clothes and have fun with colours in your shoes or handbags. As well, you can wear a brightly colored print dress and choose to wear neutral or metallic colored shoes.

So many people think, if you’re over forty-years of age, you need to wear your hair short. Whatever!!! Length of hair matters far less than the shape it’s cut in or the color. A woman can even have gray hair grazing her shoulders as long as it’s cut in a modern shape.
