Kate - Plus 8

No, not THAT Kate! I'm talking today about the Duchess of Cambridge. And specifically, some of the outfits she was spotted wearing on her recent Canadian tour. I have included eight of them below for those of you who missed them.

My personal fave was for sure the Canada Day outfit (#4) where Kate wore a cream-ruffled Reiss dress and red maple leaf fascinator. I think I liked this look best because it showed more personality and was most flattering to her figure. In my opinion, some of the other looks were just a bit too plain for this GORGEOUS royal and weren't the most figure flattering (accentuating her thin frame way too much).

Saying all of that, of course, I had to put my two cents in and create a mini wardrobe capsule for her which includes four outfits I think are more suited to her age and figure. And of course, are more colourful and show a bit more personality. If you like what you see Kate, call me! :-)

So, what would you dress Kate in? Post your ideas in the comment section below and the best answer wins an awesome prize. In honour of Kate, the winner will win this awesome Claudia Duveneck leopard print and feathered fascinator. Totally chic and perfect for Fall 2011!

Contest is open to Canadian & U.S. Practical Fashionista fans and ends next Friday, July 15th - so get your answers in today! Again, I want to hear what you think the ultimate Kate outfit would be. Post your answer below or on the Practical Fashionista Facebook page HERE.

I would pick the emerald green dress. Love the colour and I think it would really compliment Kate's complexion and figure. The shoes are stunning also. Where can I get me a pair of those?? ;-)

  2. Hey Michelle,

Great choice! As for the shoes, they are gorgeous aren't they?! They are Valentino's actually with a rhinestone-bow. They retail for $1,195.00 and you can buy online from Bergdorf Goodman. Let me know if you want me to send you the link...:-)
