If you have a little bit extra around the middle, the obvious solution is empire waisted cuts to flow over your belly to conceal the bulge. Sometimes though, depending on the style and length of this type of top, it can make you look even fuller around the middle. So, what else can you try???
Other alternatives to minimize your midsection would be a wrap top or wrap dress that helps add shape and offers support if chosen in a more substantial fabric. As well, tops and dresses with ruching around the torso area are a great choice...the gathers over the tummy help camouflage your trouble area.
