So, what are these big things happening?
Well, the first thing I am super excited about is the collaboration between Versace and H&M. Yes, Donatella Versace has created a capsule collection exclusively for H&M, and included in the collection will be both mens and womens wear!
So, what will the line be made up of? According to Versace, "The womenswear collection will be dominated by dresses that fit right in with the spirit of the season, featuring studded leather, silk and colorful print, with accessories including high heels and costume jewellery. The men’s collection will focus on sharp tailoring, including the perfect tuxedo, as well as belts and jewellery for men, too."
As for the other exciting Fall Fashion news...Topshop is coming to Canada! Yorkdale Mall to be specific. Topshop and Topshop Man will be housed within The Bay there, and I can't wait!
I discovered (and immediately fell in love with) Topshop for the first time in the mid 90's during my travels through Europe, and have been waiting for it to come to Canada since then, and couldn't be more excited!
While we're on the topic of Fall Fashion, I have some MORE exciting news! Practical Fashionista will be hosting Toronto Shopping Tours starting this Fall.
Accompanied by a Personal Stylist, these chic boutique tours will help you find unique fashion finds while introducing you to some of my favourite shopping spots. Tours will include transportation to and from Toronto, access to exclusive discounts at some of the chosen shops, and of course, personal attention from the Practical Fashionista to help you pick the "perfect for you" items. It's a great way to shop in the city AND get to work with a Personal Stylist at a fraction of the cost of booking one-on-one shopping. So, get a bunch of friends together for the perfect girls day out, or come on your own and meet some new friends!
I will be posting more info on www.practicalfashionista.com shortly, or if you can't wait and want to know more now - message firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
