As hard as I may try to convince you, I know some of you will continue to wear black (even though it may not be the most flattering for you). So, if you are going to do it, at least do it in a flattering way...and one of the best ways is to pair it with neutral colours.
Mixing black with neutrals like cream, white, camel, brown, metallics, denim, even muted (greyed down) colours, creates a much more flattering, current, and classy look.
If you are looking for the opposite effect - creating an unflattering, dated, and cheaper look - then mix your black with bright primary colours.
