We all know getting a job is tough in this economy. That's why when it comes to the interview, putting your best look forward is vital. Some tips on looking your best...
1) Dress the part: Find out what the company's dress code is and dress appropriately. It's always best to err on the side of conservative.
2) Fit & Pressed- Make sure your look is tailored perfectly. A messy and/or poorly fitting outfit will leave your potential employer wondering if you are messy worker and a poor fit.
3) For women, keep jewellery, handbags, and shoes toned down - Pick a max of three jewellery pieces to wear, a small to medium sized structured handbag, and ALWAYS closed toe shoes.
4) For guys, it's comes down to the bottom line - Make sure your shoes are polished and scuff free, and PLEASE make sure your socks match the colour of your shoes...in other words, NO WHITE SOCKS!
